Mauritius, located in Bel Ombre,on the island’s south-west
Tamassa Hotel Mauritius, a 4-star beach hotel, stands at the end
of a long avenue of mature coconut palms towering skywards. A picture
postcard landscape stretches across sugarcane fields to the mountains
beyond. The south-west is a beautiful part of Mauritius, with spectacular
walks and drives through lush, tropical hillsides and a range of
open-air activities in beautiful countryside.
In front of the beach hotel, beyond the sandy beach, lies a turquoise
lagoon that almost blends into the skyline. The sea air is invigorating
and the ripples of the waves gently calming. Beyond, lie thousands
of miles of open sea.
The traditional style architecture ideally suits the tropical
setting, with beautifully landscaped gardens. The buildings seem
at one with the environment. The décor is breathtakingly

Standard Rooms have queen-size beds (1.80 metres X 2 metres) or
twin beds (1.95 metres X 1.50 metres). A sliding wooden door opens
up to reveal a spacious bathroom filled with natural light. As well
as a bath, there is a separate shower cubicle edged with sintered
glass tiling, two hand basins and a separate toilet.

The bathroom has a bath, two glass hand basins, a separate shower
edged with decorated sintered glass tiling and a separate toilet.
24 Deluxe Rooms (49 m² including the terrace):
Kiatt wood, imported from North Africa, has been used for these
rooms. In the bathroom, two white porcelain hand basins lay on the
taupe-coloured furniture. Adding to the luminosity, the Italian
sintered glass Bizzassa tiling lined up in the separate shower is
brightened by the light that filters in the bathroom. The bath has
marble surrounds and the toilet is separate.

Main Restaurant - Show (7 a.m to 10 p.m / 12 p.m to 3 p.m

The restaurant’s terrace overlooks the swimming pool.
Modern elegance greets guests, with gobos casting beams of light
on the pure, contemporary lines of the interior, where shades of
orange merge into rounded lines and cubic shapes.
The main restaurant is divided into three and based on the exciting
concept of open kitchens, which adds a touch of theatre to the range
of international cuisine. For the first part of the day, Tamassa
specialises in lavish buffet breakfasts and lunches. Dinner is either
à la carte or a sumptuous buffet.
Beach Restaurant and Bar - La Playa (noon - 3 p.m / 7 p.m
to 10 p.m)

As the name would suggest, the Beach Restaurant and Bar is a place
to relax, with your feet in the sand, watching the sea, having a
hearty salad lunch or enjoying latin cuisine.
The dinner menu varies from themed evenings to buffets and to à

You walk into the Lounge Bar to be greeted by bright, contemporary
White, blue and ochre shades add a warm glow to the wood, steel
and glass surfaces and fittings, as if the sand and sea have inspired
the unique décor, combining modern and traditional touches.

SPORTS AND LEISURE
There are days when it is difficult to decide whether to laze by
the 3 swimming pools or lounge on the beach. The Tamassa’s
pools are so inviting that activity can almost seem a challenge.
But there is plenty to do to keep days varied and entertaining.
Free of charge: windsurfing, aqua gym, pedal boats, kayaks, sailing,
snorkelling, glass-bottom-boat rides and water-skiing.
For a fee: speedboat rides, diving (PADI) and deep-sea fishing,
for which Mauritius is famous.

Night-Club - Jalsa
For youngsters, and the not-so-young too, Tamassa has its own lively
Kids Club - Tilapia
A circular building houses the Kids Club, which is next to the tennis
courts. It has a large amphitheatre-shaped space, a dining room
on the terrace, 2 internet-access screens, a sandpit and a rest
room. The Club is air-conditioned and is for children between 3

from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. A baby sitting service is available

Teens Club - Baz
The Teens club, for older youngsters, has games machines, a billiard
table and table football, as well as organised activities.
Naiade also propose a wonderful course to Golf Lovers in partnership
with the Tamarina Golf, Spa & Beach Club. Standing on the sunny
west coast of Mauritius, Tamarina Golf Club boasts one of the finest
golf courses on the island. This unique 206-hectare estate, named
after the tamarind trees common to the area, is fully dedicated
to the art of living.
The landscaping of holes and surrounds has been contracted to an
international team and the holes have been specially designed to
give spectacular views of Mount Rempart and the towering mountain
range. Golfers will love the contrast between the rough surroundings
and the smoothness of the rolling greens and wide fairways that
adds to the experience of Tamarina Golf Course.
After a sensational golf experience, you may also relax at the
Beach Club “La Madrague”, which offers spectacular views
over Tamarin Bay, famous for surfing and dolphins.

On wedding days, the Resort offers a wedding cake and a special
marriage menu, as well, of course, as a bottle of bubbly. The morning
after, there is a special breakfast on your own terrace.
To make their holiday even more romantic, honeymooners and wedding
couples can opt for a whole range of extras, including a horse-drawn
carriage, candlelit dinners on the beach, Sega dancers and French
champagne. To make the wedding day perfect, you can also add sessions
in the Spa, a manicure and pedicure and a leisurely hour or two
